Steam, steel and propellers

Corals is a steampunk pirate world: ships are armoured steam vessels with engines, cannons and propellers, not tall galleons. These are real ships from the game, rendered from their in-game 3D models.

A few things to know

What is Corals?

Corals is a pirate MMORPG you play in your web browser. It is an independent project that brings the retro spirit of Tales of Pirates into a modern engine, with room to grow new features over time. It is not an official release from the original publisher.

Is Corals free to play?

Yes. Corals is free to play during the open alpha, and there is nothing to buy.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Corals runs in a modern web browser on desktop and mobile. Open playcorals.online/play, create an account and set sail.

Can I play Corals on my phone?

Yes. Touch controls are built for portrait and landscape, and you can place your own skill buttons.

Is Corals a new PKO?

Yes, in spirit. If you played Pirate King Online (PKO) or Tales of Pirates, you will feel at home: Argent, Shaitan and Icicle, the four heroes and their classes, sailing, Forsaken City and the other instances, fairies and forging. Corals rebuilds that world to run in your browser and keeps adding new adventures on top. It is an independent project, not affiliated with the original publishers. Coming from PKO? Start with our guide for PKO and Tales of Pirates players.

Is Corals related to Tales of Pirates?

Corals is inspired by the classic Tales of Pirates: the blue roofs of Argent, the familiar heroes and that feeling of setting out together. It is an independent project, not affiliated with the original publisher.
